Rich Music
Very deep complex music, just like their other albums. Plates and Saucers is definitely one to check out! The innovative guitar and use of percussion make this album well worth the money!

Really really great way to spend your $4.00! This EP has more of the acorn's down-tempo indie folk stuff, like some of the songs on Glory Hope Mountain. The Acorn is a fantastic band and this EP was well worth the money. You'll like it!

Canada became a hotbed for indie rock in the early 2000s, with multiple bands finding their footing in cities like Montreal and Ottawa before spreading their music to other areas. The Acorn differentiated itself from the pack by using acoustic instruments and conceptual themes, creating a sound that owed as much to experimental folk as rock & roll.
