Easily one of the most promising artists out there
Gorgeous music. There are a bunch of free tracks to download besides these two. I can't wait to see him in November.
Flip sides of a blissful pop doubloon
These tracks are just the tip of the iceberg where this young producer is concerned. With multiple full length albums slated for release in the coming year, this 7" at least serves to show two of the songwriter's many sides --- immersive, disorienting pop washes ("Blessa") and jittery, thrillingly blown-out gems ("109"). As listeners will discover, surprises lurk around every corner with Toro Y Moi.
