waiting for this for a long time!!!
I cannot remember the last time there was an album released with such heart, soul, and raw talent. Finally, Brother Sal provides listeners with the musical and lyrical excellence that they deserve, without the "cookie cutter" model to which everyone has grown accustomed. The songs are deep and rich, with Brother Sal's refreshing and inspiring vocals and piano expertise on display. This is one of those albums where every single song will tug on your heart strings, stirring up emotions while simultaneously causing you to get out of your seat and dance around the house with your little ones. Brother Sal provides a superior model for mainstream musicians. "Bird in the Rain" causes me to cry every time, while "Sgt. Major's" driving beat and exciting lyrics help me reflect on that bad boy that I once was blessed to have in my life. Everyone can identify with these lyrics, and every music lover can appreciate the true talent behind this entire album. All I can say is, FINALLY, a true musician is rising.
