Very pretty!
This is an album I was keeping an eye out for, and I am glad to see that iTunes finally has it. Michelle Bellanger has a very rich, mezzo soprano tone that compliments the music very well. Dark and enchanting. Very classically influenced. A good buy, to be sure.
Eh...
Ok, I'm really happy that iTunes has this album since Michelle Belanger isn't known very much yet, and it also gives Nox Arcana more exposure as they did the actual music. But, I don' t like her vocals as much. The instrumental music in the background is much better, and would've even been a great EP from Nox Arcana, but with her vocals... it's not the best debut. Her vocals are good on the song Blood of Angels, though... I think she's better as an alto than a soprano.
Wonderful
Her voice is soothing and flawless, this album is definetly worth a listen or two.
