Music to die for
Pino Donaggio's collaboration in Brian De Palma's movies has become a legend, in which every sound, every instrument, every chord increases the drama and makes the viewer thrill. Pino Donnagio's sound seal in well known movies like Carrie, Dressed to Kill, Body Double and Raising Cain, continues in Blow Out his excellent use of song making to score a chilling moment as well as depicting exact feelings of desperation, impotence, terror and drama for each of the characters during the film. The first track is a very good example for the rest of the score. This full recording was released in a very limited way on CD by MGM Music in the early 2000's and since has been out of print. Now it's available in Itunes if you missed it. Don't let it go again. You will not be disappointed.
