Blues Guitar Heroes
I came across this album while searching for "Let's Work Together" by Canned Heat. Just as I was attempting to add that timeless classic to my library, I consider all the other selections and performers here in the same category: obligatory. Many — both artist and selection — actually seem bigger than life and approach a state of overexposure for the experienced listener. Nonetheless, the virtuoso performance guitar work here along with the songs included represent, for me, an absolute bargain and some of the best blues performances of all time.
