Excellent Musical Comedy!
Bo Burnham's EP is excellent. The musicianship is quite good and the lyrics are hilarious. They are both funny and smart. Bo's lyrics are filled with wordlplay, double meanings, satire, and liberal helpings of self deprecating humor. Bo has quite a good voice as well.
Some of the most creative song writing ever!
I discovered this guy on youtube, and became addicted to his songs. Every time I listen to his stuff, I discover a joke I didn't completely get, the first time. Do yourself a favor and listen to this stuff.
Good Comedy
Bo is hilarious. He goes where nobody else has gone and pushes the limits on what people are "supposed to say out loud". It is his boldness and obvious confidence in his comedy that makes him so successful. Lots of ideas are also implied but it is funny how there is a pause and suddenly whatever he said becomes unperverted by what he says next. And it is more unique than plain old stand up comedy because he finds a way to work it into music. Keep up the good work.
