Gorgeous, beautiful, classic ISHAM!!

I've been dying for this score to come out on iTunes! It's up there with CRASH and RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT as Isham's best work. Powerful, moving, and epic-feeling. This has been a great couple weeks for soundtrack releases... if you like this, you might also like "Hole in the Paper Sky" (Kerry Muzzey), "Elizabeth" (Craig Armstrong) and "I Capture the Castle" (Dario Marianelli). All are worth the full-album download price... exquisite stuff.

Note: Does not contain RFK speech!

I bought the last track becuase it is the music underscoring the speech from the movie. I thought since they made such a point of the playing the entire speech that it would be included with the moving music. It's not. Be forewarned!

Bobby (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

I, too, have been waiting for the score to be released to CD. I purchased the first soundtrack CD just to get No One Left But Bobby. I am thrilled to be able to get the entire score on CD now. This is a very haunting soundtrack that really creates the proper mood for this movie. The solo trumpet is by Tim Morrison, one of the best trumpeters I have heard. His superb trumpeting can also be heard in Born on the Fourth of July.
