Don't listen to the fan girls
I think it's ridiculous that people rate this album one or two stars because it doesn't have "more of Miley". That does not define the quality of the album, people. Miley and John did a wonderful job. John Powell did an even more amazing job on the score of this film. Don't pay attention to the little fan girls who are annoyed because it's "nothing but orchestra" music. It's not like the Miley Cyrus song is an Album Only purchase.
I Thought I Lost Her, but Miley's Back!
I haven't heard the whole entire album, and I am not trying to be a coocoo-for-Miley Cyrus robot, but... 1. the country flair is ah-mazing 2. John Travolta's voice goes great with hers 3. the movie is ah-dorable 4. and the song actually HAS a point With that said, you can guess I really like I Thought I Lost You, check yes if you agree!
A Great Work by John Powell
This is another great score by John Powell. As usual, there are upbeat themes (Bolt Transforms, Scooter Chase, A Fast Train) and really pretty songs (Meet Bolt, Meet Mittens, House on Wheels). But don't get put off by these, erm, popstar enthusiasts. This soundtrack is worth it (even if you have to buy the Miley Cyrus song)
