Authentic Colombian Cumbia + Smooth Electronica = SophistiCumbia!
Like a smoky night en la playa around a techno-bonfire...Where's Vol. 2? If you like chill and electronica, and dig swinging caribbean rhythms, this is for you. Even the slight touches of hip-hop (in Huepajé) work. Aterciopelados probably started this way back on Caribe Atómico, but this is far more focused in it's purpose to take you on a laid-back trip using authentic colombian cumbia (not the mexican selena variety!). Use of electronica is tasteful and doesn't overwhelm the traditional sounds, but complements them.

Very nice Latin electronica here....and at a price of $3.99 for the full album, you can't go wrong!!

Why are you even debating on getting this c.d.? Bomba Estereo is a perfect fusion of Champeta, cumbia, electro and dance music. And while other artists fail miserably combing all these elements Bomba Estereo creates a feel good album! Buy it and empieza a gozar! XXXcan't wait for Vol. 2XXX
