GREAT VOCALS
I have been waiting to download Good News for a long time, but I still get an error and it won't let me download either of the new songs....frustrated.
GOOD NEWS has the vocal delivery of a grammy win equal to today's Adele. It is a great idea to premier this song on SYTYCD with a choreographed dance. In worked great for Jar of Hearts. In fact, I like all their stuff so far. I am ready for a full album too.
Hope you know this is the daughter of legendary Donna Summer. I want new stuff from her too....NOW.

For those of you out there who thought Johnnyswim was just playing around with this whole music thing, consider yourself kicked in the throat...BAM!!! They just laid the wood with these two singles. "Bonsoir" has a permanent slot on any chill playlist I can think of making. Honestly, not since the BeeGees toured with Earth, Wind, and Fire have I heard such captivating falsetto (I don't know if they ever toured together, but you get the point). On a completely serious tip (not that I wasn't before), "Good News" may be one of the greatest songs of hope I've ever heard...period. If you know someone who is in the fight of their life and/or needing a song to get them through the night PLEASE let them hear this tune. If Mia Michaels ever choreographs a dance to that song for SYTYCD, I'm convinced the heavens will open, the dead will rise, and an Emmy and Grammy will be awarded simultaneously. Don't get "left behind" DOWNLOAD THIS NOW.
GENIUS
Just when I thought most true artistry, heart-palpitating songwriting, and world-class musicianship had been autotuned away with the last decade, the silky-smooth voices of JOHNNYSWIM crept into my ears and soul. They're as captivating live as they are on CD, which doesn't happen often these days, and their live show leaves you feeling warm, fuzzy, and itching for more--as these 2 songs have done for me. I NEED A FULL ALBUM for such things as parties, road-trips, candlelit baths, long walks around the streets of Paris....or let's just be real. This is the kind of music you want to be the soundtrack to your life.
Well done, dynamic duo Johnnyswim. Well done.
Now, get to work and give me more before I wear these out on repeat (which will be in about a week).
