Its good... not great...

im happy and dissapointed at the same time. there's new production and lyrics from doom, but theres also alot of recycled tracks. if your at all familiar with doom or the non-mainstream hip-hop scene... you'll know that the lightworks beat has been used before, that angels was on fishscale, the middle j dilla beat on gazillion ear has been out on cd for almost 4 years, and that still dope uses a 15 year old beat. it may not sound like much, but when you see (or hear) how much skill the man has behind the boards... its a dissapointment to hear used stuff on a hyped "new" album. this is light years better than anything on the radio and most other hip-hop material out there now... but to a doom fan... its alittle bit of a let down. there are some amazing tracks though, including; gazillion ear, ballskin, absolutely, microwave mayo and more. the production (doom, j dilla, jakeone, and madlib) is mostly top knotch. and the lyrics are on point as always. the featured artists, while not bad, are nothing to write home about (except for empress starhh's track). overall the album is good, there are some tracks that are beasts, and there are some that are sorta duds. to a new listener of doom, this will be an awakening of your hip-hop ear. to a fan, this will satisfy your new material craving. so whether doom faithful or not... cop this joint. but if you are a doom fan, dont set your expectations too high, or you'll be let down alittle.

good but dont pay for it, hes ripping off his fans

great cd but im still not happy with doom sending in impostors to perform for him. his rebuttal: “I tell you one thing: when you come to a DOOM show, come expecting to hear music, don’t come expecting to see,” and "I might be there." well mr. doom, we go to your shows to see you perform your material live, not to see some guy in your mask lipsynching. ill go cop it form pirate bay for all the money you cheated your loyal fans out of.

He's Back!!

Thank the lord that the man with the All Caps is back to rap on some new solo tracks mixed with a little of this and that, please support DOOM
