Interesting album
I found this album while searching for "Burial" ("Unite" is spectacular)... Compilation albums are an overlooked asset... There are some artists here I'm not familiar with but I bought the whole thing... It's a good comp disc... Nice introduction to different artists... The Digital Mystikz and Skream tracks are my favs so far(except for "Unite")...
Great compilation/sampler
If you're new to dubstep and are afraid of purchasing a single artist's album for fear that only two or three tracks will be good, then this is the album for you. "Box of Dub" provides tracks that are good listens and that represent differing, unique styles to provide a good overview of dubstep. There is no single tone (e.g., dark vs. upbeat) to the songs. It is a good mix. Rest Assured, there are no 'filler' tracks. The tracks have high replay value and are suitable for many tastes. Whether you need to relax when you get home from work, need some studying background music, or want to set the right atmosphere at your opium-fueled loft party, then I highly recommend that you get this record.
A very cool album, with a ton of hype!
Worth checking out, to get familiar with dub step. A really cool genre mixing d&b, dub reggae and downtempo. Feeling it.
