Shepherd's Dog
These songs make me more excited for Shepherd's Dog (new album, out September 25, if you didn't know already) than ever. Their sound overall is more polished and I now think of them as a full band, rather than just Sam Beam. It's more upbeat and electric than their previous work, so, like other reviews said, if you were a fan of the Woman King EP or In The Reigns, you'd feel right at home.
I Can't Wait For The New Album
I love Iron & Wine, and although, "Boy With A Coin" is a bit more upbeat and less ambient, it is still a great Iron & Wine song. For those who love the Woman King - EP, this is for you.
Sam Beam is back
After a brief detour with his Woman King EP, Sam Beam returns to his more classic sound. And does he ever. This reminds me of everything I ever loved about Iron & Wine.
