A timely release by an up and coming singer songwriter. I hope the message is heard loud and clear.

Drew Landry is a singer/songwriter from Southwest Louisiana and undeniably one of music's best kept secrets. Drawing comparisons to
early Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Townes Van Zandt, the 36-year-old Landry is grassroots organizer, citizen journalist, and swamp laborer who wears his emotions on his sleeve.
"BP Blues", went viral following his heartfelt testimony at the Presidential Commission on the BP Oil Spill and was featured on C-SPAN, CNN, The Washington Post, The Huffington Post and many other news outlets. 75% of the records will go to the nonprofit group saveourgulf.org.
Great Tune
Drew is a great songwriter, and story teller. And, He tells this story with passion. Great backing band (all Lafayette based musicians, so if you're looking to get out of the Nashville rut, here it is). 75% of the profits are going to help with the BP disaster...AND now with the Mariner blow out, it's even more relevent.
