Great CD!
Nicest you'd ever want to meet.....wait.......aren't I?.......Never mind ;)
A Great CD!!
BRAINS ALL OVER THE STREET IS T-Kash's second solo release on Guerrilla funk and it's very impressive. The lyrics of most of the songs tend to tell a story and to that end, T-Kash is a talented artist. Songs like "SO LOW" ,"Sign Language", and "Back Home" show his story telling skills. Obviously as a conscious rapper he puts messages in his music and he deserves much credit for it. The only negative, if you can call it that, is that He seems a bit too laid back on this cd especially when compared to TURF WAR SYNDROME. I don't know if it's because Obama's in office or he just wanted a different sound but none the less, T-Kash is in full reflective mode. He's taking a more sober approach to addressing the issues of the black community as opposed to the aggressive stance he took on TURF WAR SYNDROME. All in all a great cd for all who love conscious hip hop. B+
