impressive
This is not a guy who "can't find a style that works best for him," as much as a guy who is effectively and radically experimenting with the boundaries of different genres. Each song can stand alone as a neat little package, bursting with the talents of its musicians, and Sam's immense talent is showcased throughout merely through his ability to seamlessly weave it all together. If the artistic vision and production value of his work continues to improve at this pace, I think we can expect great things from him in the future.
Wow
The production on this album is amazing. You can hear so many different instruments come together beautifully on each track. Sam shows he can definitely rap and while some of the features may dissapoint, the singers on the album are great. This is feel good music and it has a unique sound that you won't hear in your typical hip hop album.
The Beginning of A Future "Great" in Hip-Hop
I think this album is truly monumental. Sam Lachow is a talent so blatantly obvious that he won't be ignored for long. Having listened to his record I feel like I know so much about him and his personal story. It feels really honest and thoughtfully crafted the way all the best music always does. As a writer, I have such a huge respect for how he uses words. As a listener of music, I have such a huge respect for the cohesion, production value, and instrumentation of these tracks. Get this album now and get in on the ground floor because the world will watch Lachow's music become more and more important.
