Break Up one of the best underrated albums of 09

Pete Yorn & Scarlett Johansson make one of the best combinations of all time. I love how their music seems so classic yet with a retro-modern twist!

More beauty than substance

What happens when you put two beautiful people together in a recording studio? A great looking album cover with weak songs apparently. It feels like it should be interesting...but it's just not. The production is interesting and old Pete Yorn is spreading his wings just a little to encompass the kampy hipster sound thats dominating Juno-esque movies these days. Faux-indie actor and a faux-indie musician producing faux-indie rock. Good to have on at a dinner party though.

um, wow!

I thought she was going to be a Zooey Deschanel wannabe, just another star who wanted an album. But this album completely blew me away and is in fact one of the most amazing things I have ever heard. Awesome. Soooo awesome. Just the right beat and it never gets old.
