Departure and arrival
This is a major transition album for these guys. There is a lot more live feeling happening on the album and new energy to the music. Lots of great songs previous to this album that I love, but this one is full of beauty. Vocals are some of the strongest Paula Valencia has had to date and the guitar work is fantastic. 'Bleed Like Me' feel like an open sky while 'Back to You' captures the truly haunting guitar sounds of Blind Divine's live shows. 'Air' is an incredible track that flattens an audience during live shows and the studio version here gets really close. I can listen to that track several times per day and never get sick of it. Another great addition to this album is live drums which lends to the overall more organic feel to this album. 'All That Is Hidden' really showcases this new aspect to Blind Divine's current direction and is worth listening to over and over again. Buy this album.
