Brideshead Revisited- Adrian Johnston
This, along with Pride & Prejudice, is the most beautiful soundtrack I've ever experienced. I could listen to the main theme for an entire day and still want to hear more of it.
Absolutely Wonderful
This album contains some of my favorite instrumental pieces, like "Always Summer". The pieces are lush, rich, inspired, and just plain beautiful. It reminds me of some of the music you'd hear from composers such as Rachel Portman, Alexandre Desplat, Nico Muhly (listen to The Reader! it's gorgeous), and one of my new favorites, "Beginnings" by Josh Kramer - who just seems to have popped up out of nowhere. These are all great listening experiences that won't let you down.
Simply Beautiful.
The entire soundtrack, especially "Sebastian", "Desire", and "Always Summer", completely embodies every emotion expressed in the movie. This music will make you want to cry, it's so beautiful.
