Beautiful
After waiting for months for this album, I was ecstatic for it's release. Mr. Barbour does not disappoint. He has wonderful staples (from "Dracula" and "A Tale of Two Cities") mixed in with some lesser-known songs (ex- "Count of Monte Cristo") and classics ("Music of the Night"!!!). Are all sung with velvet tones and inflections and is already my new favorite album. This is his best album yet!
Fantastical
Though I'm sad to get repeats from other albums, (The Dracula and Tale of Two Cities songs for example) all the new material is fantastic. I love this version of "I Will Be There." "Bring Me Giants" is just as good as when I heard Douglas Sills do it years ago. And "Who Will Love This Child" is wonderful and makes me want to give that version of Hunchback a chance. Barbour's voice is glorious and he uses much of his full range in this recording. I think "I Will Be There" will surprise you. Get this! You'll be playing it over and over again.
