if it sounded like the original who the hell would listen?
the whole point of this cd is that its a hardcore take on a classic we all grew up with. the point of these bands doing these songs is that they are doing it in their own style, making them different and original covers. bands that cover songs and make them sound exactly the same as the original aren't contributing anything to the musical discourse. if you don't like hardcore, that's fine. this album wasn't meant for you then. and for that matter, i'd stay away from the counting crows, motley crue and queen tribute cds as well.
WHY?????
Why would you have gothic death speed screaming painful whatever cover the incredible music talents of Guns N' Roses? But at least this CD does as promised. It will bring you to your knees, begging for it to stop.
