Great, hooky americana rock!
This album is terrific! Fans of Wilco, Old 97s, even the Beatles (which means everyone) will love this. Catchy as the Black Plague. Check out any of the first three tracks, or the last one!!!
Get drunk and listen again and again
I heard about these guys from a friend of mine who saw their live act. He told me they had a balls out power pop meets country thing going on so I was a little afraid when I started listening to the first track and the intro was all twangy and slow. Then boom, the full band comes in and suddenly the song turns into the catchiest thing you'll ever hear about Whiskey. The whole album is great and all of the songs are awesome. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who digs Americana, but also anyone who's a fan of great pop songwriting. Can't wait to see them live.
