Authentic
by JoeeeelThere's no other way to describe the music made by these brothers and the people that helped. Not the style of music everyone will like, but definitely something that you should try. In the words of Trifonic, there's a constant tension between chaos and order, something absolutely amazing to the ear.
If only the World had more authentic music like this...
Self Remix EP - A Great Complement to Emergence
by zem_the_mattressThese are equally great versions of the originals on Emergence. I really dig 'Infiltration (Creeper Mix)' because, well, - it creeps up on you. About 2 min into the track, the berserk broken drum/synth/distortion craziness hits, and it's awesome. Totally encapsulates why I really love this band. This mix of 'Broken' is more of a breakbeat track than the original. 'Transgenic' is somewhat more glitch-hoppy than the other version, as is 'Sooner or Later'. This mix of 'Lies' is (kind of) a more traditional house/trance track - less appealing to me, but that style isn't to my taste. This EP is certainly worth purchasing, as the Genius is equally apparent. Only rated this 4 stars because it's derivative of Emergence album
