True to scripture, and very moving!

I have had the privelage to see this team develop over the last 10 years and what has come to this point is life-changing. Matt's leadership is always to bring people to the feet of Jesus. I am so proud to get the opportunity to serve beside this team every week. And what you hear is what you get in thier persoanl lives as well. They are talented musicians who with reckless abandon love their ferocious Jesus and have found a way to bring it all together, not just in a cd, but an expereince for sure.

pure hearts, pure sounds!

so thankful that these people are using their God-given abilities to glorify Him. love what they offer up and can't wait to see what the future may hold! BUY THIS ALBUM (you won't be sorry) and support their further ministry!

Dear Matt Tipton,

You probably don't remember me. I fell in love with God at 249. At camps like lanuch or scream, Rock the mike, and Big Toe. I remember the day you left, to get married and start a new church. I remember the crap band we had after. I remember it all pass like shooting star 1997 onward.

I still listen to your music, from your first CD which i bought at Rock the Mike. It holds a special place due to my relationship with God. Songs like ''Waiting For September'', 'Cry of the Church', and 'New Sound'. Those songs..... Oh those songs..

This new CD doesnt have the same desperation i would like. while i do like your theme. I feel that the band players at 249, were hungry, young, talented, and special. Like a group of great people together. I don't mean to sound dramatic, but that is what i saw. Great people all following their destiny together. Brad on the drums, i think your wife was vocals, and everett on guitar. I dont remember all of the people.

The only song on the DOXA CD which reminds of deep passion is Riches of his Grace. I love the build up, i love how you get lost in the music in the end. I love how your asking the audience ''were you thinking my name''. Or you were asking GOd in the music. But its one in the same, in how your in the moment truly asking. Lots of people can sing songs, but not everyone can feel the emotion and experience. Also, i would warn against repeating verses. I am not sure what song it is, but its boring. In my opinion, repeating verses for building a song is the absence of creativity. I feel like your music, (at least from this CD), in comparison to the last one i knew, has gotten more ''Christian''. Everyone who is a real person who loves Christ hates Christianese. Like, yea we all love God great... But your music, from back in the day, was real. your band was on fire. FIRE. Was is that? Where does is stem? Being yourself, and being in love with God. Therefore, i recommend you focus more on your own true desires for music. To get that ''whatever'' out of Matt and out of your team.

In short, keep going, i thank you for your gift, and i look forward to more.

I too am following my heart,
Kyle Stephen Heller
