A lifetime of work.

This is a wonderful collection songs. Tom ellard is a creative genius, and this album gives you a small taste of his life's work. Ranging from noise driven beats to highly complex digital composing. As well, check out the soundtrack for illustrated family doctor to hear his more ambient works.

Bulkhead Plus = A+++

OK, So you've probably read another one of my Severed Heads reviews and think I'm partial to this band and I must confess I am (unabashedly so).This collection is pieced together from previously released EP's and albums and is one of my all time favorites...ever! Originally released as Bulkhead (no Plus) the tracklisting differed somewhat. On this release they seem to be remastered (and sounding superb) with all new cover art. The inclusion of "Heart of the party" (from "Gigapus") and "Twister" add an all new energy and vitality to the mix.I was a little disappointed that "Harold & Cindy Hospital" wasn't included on this compilation but the new tracks more than made up for it. I have never seen this available anywhere except on the Severed Heads website (Sevcom) and through iTunes.The price is definitely worth it for this exciting excursion into electronic ecstasy. Highly recommended.

MUST HAVE FOR THE NOVICE!

'HOT WITH FLEAS' is one of the BEST electronic songs ever made!

Eclectic and stubbornly refusing to confine themselves to any single genre, Severed Heads evolved constantly from their debut in 1979 to their final retirement in 2008, as they used a wide...
