All around great album!

This recording is of the first 4 Bitchin Babes show, recorded at The Bottom Line in NYC, 1991. The Babes have appeared in various lineups over the years (although I believe Sally Fingerette is the one constant member), and they're always worth seeing. I was lucky enough to be at this show, and enjoyed every minute of it. The songs included here are all enjoyable. The best known is probably Christine Lavins "Sensitive New Age Guys", but there are many other gems - "Wake Up And Dream" is a lovely song made even lovelier by Megan McDonough's crystal clear voice. Sally Fingerettes "Ladies Lunch" is moving and sad, and "I'm Fine" is a sweet simple ballad that Patty Larkin's warm alto is perfectly suited for. All 4 of these ladies are enormously talented, and this CD is the best of their best. Well worth owning.
