I'm a big fan, but...
Dan's accordion finese is not debatable - he's great - but this solo album pales in comparison musically to his Cafe Accordion Orchestra (CAO) recordings (available at their web site). I wanted the same rich musical experience from this disc that the CAO has given - and felt a bit let down. That said - if you are looking for solo (French Cafe style) accordion music - you will not be disappointed by this disc.
Loved Every Tune
This is just pure fun. Accordian playing is at it's best with a variety of musical styles. Very relaxing!
Cafe accordion
I wanted music for a slide show of our trip to France. I ended up using only a few seconds of this music because it was so repetitive and not very interesting; it didn't have much of a beat nor that French flair I wanted.
