I love this album!
This album is one of my favorites! Jake has such a great voice and his songs are very beautiful. You should definitly buy this album!
Get to know this guy's music
See my review of "Jake Armerding", his second album, for more general gushing about Jake's music. This album - one of his first - is what made me a lifelong fan. "Color You In" is a brilliant little song that kept playing in my mind until I was forced to write a scene for it. It was so good, that in my next screenplay I did it again (and ended up using Ithaca and Place I Know as well). Check out his music so you can clue your friends in on this amazing - and soon to be discovered - secret. His music is awesome.
One of my favorites
Jake's music is clever and uplifting. He has a talent for several instruments and his lyrics and layers are subtle and moving. This is a great buy. Listen to "Ithaca" or "Company Town" and you'll see what I mean. He's always telling a story, but telling it beautifully.
