Lyrical Insanity!

Lloyd Banks is un-arguably the most talented G-Unit member lyrically and this mixtape track "Cake" is a perfect example of his vicious flawless flow. How he word plays the word "cake" throughout this addictive track with a bangin beat is proof! 50 dropped a decent verse. Hopefully the video will do the track justice to push units for "Rotten Apple" as G-Unit needs Bank$ to deliver with Mobb Deep (underated Blood Money) & Tony Yayo's album sales underwhelming. I blame Yayo's sales on them pushing his album back so much that "So Seductive" was out over 3 months before the album dropped, and next you know the next single is "Curious"? Get the hell out of here with that soft garb-ahhge. Mobb Deep's first single "Put Em In Their Place" was for the streets, and never got video play or radio on mainstream. Matter fact, they have no commercial joints on their G-Unit debut except the MJB colabo joint. Back to this track, this is what the Unit needs. A hardcore track with absolutely no Fiddy singing or soft R&B type joint. Straight street banger. Oh, and tight subliminal diss on Kanye saying " Banks dont rap with a back pack"!! He burnt cuz with that line!! Btw, Fiddy, you my dude and all, but let the Unit members shine without you dawg. I defend you everyday I get into hip-hop jibberish babbling battles, yet you need to chill on everyones 1st singles. Atleast you gave M O Double B some breathing room. Rotten Apple, in stores soon, go cop! ... unless they delay it in normal G-Unit fashion. P.S. some one needs to delete "My House" and act like that song was never created. Awful. Bank$ runnin the game foe sho, ya dig!

Lloyd Banks was raised in Jamaica, Queens, by his Puerto Rican mother; his father spent much of his son's childhood behind bars. Like many young men amid the poverty and ruin of his community, he found solace through ghetto poetry and the work of rappers like Big Daddy Kane and Slick Rick. He dropped out of high school at the age of 16, finding the structured environment a hindrance to his developing talent for rhyming. After appearing on numerous local mixtapes, Banks, along with childhood friends...
