iTunes Review
There’s a wide-eyed reverence to Esterlyn’s third release that harkens back to the Jesus Music-era of the early ‘70s. Lead singer Luke Caldwell and his band mates recall the innocent days of Christian pop/rock’s beginnings in these earnest, simply produced tracks. Call Out focuses in upon God’s love and acceptance, embodying this theme in both its lyrics and the austere yet uplifting quality of its music. Intimate piano-centered tunes like “Esther” and “Treasure” convey a healing message, brought to life by Caldwell’s subdued yet passionate delivery. The shimmering, almost ethereal “Can’t Miss This” and a gently rocking cover of Hillsong’s “Freedom Is Here” are more produced but no less effective. The shimmering guitars and bright banjo of “El Shaddai” lend it an easy-going country air. Caldwell has the ability to make these studio sessions feel like campfire-side folk numbers, as “The Lord Is Good” shows. Throughout, the unguarded spirit of Esterlyn shines through with warmth and sincerity. Call Out is a cry for salvation that deserves to be heeded.

Esterlyn
Esterlyn might be the most underrated christian band out there, give them a shot and buy this album.
Buy this album!
I recommend this CD. The thing that sets Esterlyn apart from others is their hearts. They truly want to glorify God and bring His light to the broken and lost that are in darkness. You can see this through their actions through the years and through their lyrics. This album is worth way more than the five dollars it is being sold for.
An awesome new album from an awesome band!
I've been following Esterlyn for a few years now since I saw them live when they toured with Kutless. I bought their "Lamps" album right on the spot at the show, and hung out with the guys for a short bit after the show. They have a great sound that is unique and progressive. The Lamps album is one that you can play over and over again and never tire of it. I have a feeling this CD will be played in the same manner when the mood strikes. Great work on the new album guys, keep it coming:-)!!!
