Outstanding
Increbible album. My first from James Hooker. Purchased The Pledge and Hanging Out With the Boys before the album was released. Artists like this are once in a life time. Thank you for the great music!
James Hooker-hero in music to support our troops
James Hooker is one of our heroes in music to help spread the word of support of our precious soldiers. "Get Some" is by far the most earthy, "get down and dirty in the trenches with our soldiers" songs ever written. I totally feel the songs strength by simply closing my eyes and imagining what this song is about. I personally know the soldiers love this song, and many have it on their IPods, Iphones, my tunes, and etc...
Then you get the song "Calling All The Clans Together" which is a throw back to rock-a-billy from civil war times music. The song is calling all those who love our great country and know that there are those out there, who want it to collaspe, and James is trying to stir your soul to support your country and take it back to the grassroots it was founded on.
At least download those 2 songs, then you will know what I am talking about.
another masterpiece
Helloooooooo, where is everyone? Doesn't anyone like good music anymore? This entire release is a tribute to our brave troops. It is great music, very touching and inspiring. Not sure I would categorize it as country, more blues to me but what do I know, I guess I'm the only one that likes his music....wake up everyone!
