This Album is amazing.
It is a must listen for all contemporary jazz fans. We're living in a world of two chord "songs", drum machine looped tracks, with dumb solos that go nowhere and still passes as jazz. But Erik plays amazing guitar in style similar to Larry Carlton, but with his own subtle melodic voice, and chops to burn. Along with his great playing, he brings a stunning array of beautiful compositions that actually take the listener on a journey. It's obvious why Erik is in such demand as a composer. For those wondering where jazz is headed, they need to look no further than "Canadian Impressions."
