Hauntingly Beautiful and Poignant

This song captures you from the driving first note (think Springsteen's Prove it all Night) and takes you on a journey into the heart and soul of what a veteran experienced first-hand. The lyrics draw you into the soldier's world; you can feel the heat and taste the oil - I had chills listening to this the first time. Topham's raspy yet mellifluous voice offers the listener a gritty experience, similar to Dylan's Hurricane or U2's Sunday Bloody Sunday. Can't Find My Way Home has pierced by soul and I know that it will stay with me for quite a while. Mr. Topham has a gift, lyrically and musically; I hope we hear more from this talented artist.
