Unique Music!
This is very special music, although for discriminating tastes. Listening to Advent is much more like listening to a string quartet than to most Rock Bands. If you are into great arranging and if inner voiceleading excites you I suggest you check these guys out. A very unique listening experience although it may be too deep and fragile for some listeners. jazzstick
Cantus Firmus
I saw this bands first show and was blown away. If your a prog fan, this album is a must. Ramblin Sailor is the highlight of the album. Gentle Giant influence is big, but this band can do some great stuff that goes in other directions

who thought that their friend was talking about this progressive rock band: THIS IS NOT IT!! there is another band named Advent that is a modern rock band! Your friends were probably talking about THAT band not this one! They both have the same name! Check out the song Better than OK. Then you will know what I'm talking about!
