Love "Dancing Shadows"!
I enjoyed all of the tracks on this album, especially "Dancing Shadows". It sounds a lot like the keyboard style Ray Lynch uses on his song "Celestial Soda Pop" (another instrumental classic). KevOz shows great versatility on Canvas - from the Jim Brickman-like piano on "Family", to the New Order-ish sounding "One Chance" (to name just a couple examples) - the songs range from slow tempo (like "Run to Her") to upbeat ("If Only"), and they fit in great with the other instrumental tracks I like to play.

This is another winner by a rising star - KevOz. His original compositions paint lively tapestries of shadows, sunrises, happiness, dreams and much more. His music is on par with Enya, yet its colors are much more vibrant and its themes instill hope. This CD is a definite must for your New Age music collection.
Accessible melodies, catchy refrains, and bouncy rhythms
KevOz has a strong ability to craft pop-like new age music hooks, composing songs that blend accessible melodies, catchy refrains, and bouncy rhythms. "One Chance" is the lively opening cut, building from a quiet prelude into a high-energy mixture of sampled guitars and trap kit drums, and featuring some nice digital piano and synth work during the bridge. Then there's the bouncy synth-pop "Dancing Shadows" which makes excellent use of Ray Lynch-like keyboards (the same kind of trademark sound Lynch used on Deep Breakfast and No Blue Thing). "If Only" has lots of snappy beats and a cheerful, sunny, almost tropical feel to its keyboards and rhythms.
