Hints at promising new material
Hideous and Perfect was an interesting record, albeit less inspired than some of the band's earlier work. The fact that this release marks a second remix disc from that effort is a little disappointing. Some listeners adore remix material (and the industrial genre has beaten the remix concept to death) but Angelspit write such dynamic and kinetic material in their own right, that remixes of their songs seem generally less appealing than the actual source material they are created from.
There are some high profile contributors to this remix collection, but no single remix track seems to scream for notice. Luckily for some fans, the band has previewed three brand new songs: Glitchbomb, Like it Lick It?, and Toxic Girl. All three of these new tracks are far more compelling than any of the individual remixed songs showcased on this release. Carbon Beauty is probably best suited for diehard fans who need to collect all of Angelspit's work, but others might just want to focus on the pounding new songs and skip the remixes.

Angelspit has done it again. Another awesome remix album plus three new track! I like how ZooG says in an interview about the album "Carbon Beauty is an exercise in brutality." I love the strong female vocals of Destroyx. I can definatly say I have been anticipating for this release for a long time and when I found it here, it was an instant buy!

ZooG and Destroyx are THE best.you won't regret it if you buy the album! Toxic Girl is probably the best song out of the rest of the songs in the album, you should also watch the toxic girl music video!
