A Brilliant Gem in My Collection
I treasure this CD. The songs on this CD are amazingly creative, ethereal, and interesting. Everyone in the world should hear Blue Vacation, Number four (Track number 9) at least once! Its full of an amazingly blissful and mysterious feeling that I've never encountered before in the world of electronica. I once saw this song performed live and was astonished at the amazingly creative things that he does with guitar feedback. This guy must be an alien or an angel.

Milwaukee-based producer Erik Kowalski produces tracks of gorgeous listening techno, with baroque, haunting melodies, and distorted trip-hop beats. After over two years of recording on his own, Kowalski released an eponymous debut on Star Star in 1998. One year later, Go Hawaii followed on Milwaukee's Wobblyhead.
