Thirst Quenching in an Otherwise Artless Souless Desert of Crapola
I haven't been this happy about an album in, it seems, decades! Mature, lovely and meaningful, "Catch a Ride" has something for everyone and seems customized for any mood you're in. I can't get enough! Albums like these are too few and far between. Simple yet more complex in places, you will reminisce, contemplate and sway to the sweet beats while listening to this album. Beautiful.
Music speaks for itself!
I saw her open for India.Arie in Asheville, NC last night.
She had an amazing energy and soul that could have even rivaled the headliner.
Buying this album was one of the first things I did after coming home from the concert.
Trust me, once you put in the CD and push play for the first time, the music then speaks for itself.
Great range, depth and talent by a fresh new artist
I'm impressed by this full-bodied collection of original songs. Very professionally done pieces for a debut album -- there should be something here for almost everyone with some definite Top - 40 candidates thrown in. Fiol shows herself putting her soul into her music in order to bring out ours too. Having seen her perfom in several different venues, she has a dynamic presence that the audience responds to.
