Tami Chynn & Tifa Are Certified Divas !!!
The lyrically potent Tifa and dancehall-pop princess Tami Chynn have teamed up to bring women a real musical anthem. Actually, to be accurate, it’s a “hot gyal anthem”. The single Certified Divas, was produced by Washroom Entertainment and was released by the two artistes on social networking websites Facebook and Twitter three weeks ago.
Deejay Tifa says that she hasn’t been so excited about a song since she released the chart-topping Spell It Out.
“Just working with Tami Chynn was awesome. She’s such a great artiste with such good energy, and that made the song just flow even better. Certified Divas is the official hot gyal anthem for every real hot gyal out there,” said Tifa, whose real name is Latifa Brown...
And according to Tami, “It’s that female anthem right now that women can listen to and just feel empowered and happy about themselves and that’s what being a certified diva is all about. It’s a really fun, empowering song.”
Producer of the track, Conroy Forte says the two are a match made in musical heaven. Citing the great work chemistry that has and continues to exist between himself and Tami Chynn having worked on her first album Forte said that while this is his first experience working with Tifa, “it definitely won’t be the last”. The producer, who has scored hits such as Memories by Wayne Marshall, Dance The Night Away by Voice Mail and Busy Signal and Dancing You Out Of My Life by Alaine, added that the song just flowed from the artistes’ creative bones.
As soon as Certified Divas was released fans and music lovers commented and ‘retweeted’ their accolades creating a great buzz for the song. So much so, that the song became the number one listened to song on the music service for Twitter, Tweet My Song, in the world. It is true that it is hard to listen to the up-tempo song, and without some head-nodding-shoulder-bumping-waistline-moving reaction.
Tami is excited about the collab, saying that it was “AMAZING” working with Tifa and that she has “big expectations” for the tune.
“She’s a real talent and when she first came on the scene, I really was a fan and I really wanted to work with her. She’s so talented you wouldn’t believe. She literally wrote the song in under an hour and we recorded it in even less time. She’s just an amazing recording artiste. The response we’ve been getting so far has been amazing and I think it’s just the start of big things for this song,” Tami commented.
Tifa, says the song has an undeniable energy and it makes a woman feel good. “The lyrics are catchy and the beat is wicked! When you listen to the song, it makes you want to dance and you just have to obey the beat of the music!”
