Sleeper of 2007!!!
This record is destined to become a classic! A quick perusal of their website and I see I am not alone in this estimation. Can't get enough of these guys!!! Big Blue Cadillac is wonderfully tongue in cheek. Wish It Would Rain is world class. Lucky One has deep soul lyrics...and so on. SO much to love here! GET IT!!!
Wonderful album
There's an unvarnished freshness to this album. It's a wonderful mix of tempos and moods. Stand out song is "I Wish It Would Rain" - I honestly think it's the most beautifully done song I've ever heard. Ever. From the vocals to the instruments, absolutely stunning. "Root Doctor", "Soul Shine", "Lucky One", and "Keep Our Business Off the Streets" are also excellent tunes. I highly recommend this album - outstanding.
