realize something

You need to separate The Young Veins from Panic! At the Disco -- they're completely different bands. They have different completely different sounds. Don't buy this song if you're looking for PATD v 2.0. I do still recommend "Change". It's got a great messy pop summer feel. I hate comparisons to the Beatles but if you're going to go for one, "Change" has a Revolver feeling to it.

TYV

To me, Pretty. Odd. was an amazing album. And Well Ryan ROss has a great voice. The Young Veins are doing amazing, and this is only one of their new songs. ALl of their new songs rock and they are amazing live. People are mean when talkign about The Young Veins jsut because of the Panic! split. Well forget that and just like who you like. TYV are a good band and Jon Walker and Ryan Ross are amazing guys.

This song is a fun song. Some lyrics are odd but thats just how Ryan writes.

Good Solid Song

Yes, I'm aware where two of the member of the Young Veins came from. Yes, I am heartbroken...and I'm not being sarcastic. But I don't want to dwell on that, I think we should be positive. And since I really like this song and the other two songs I've heard, I'm going to give the Young Veins my support.

I like the lyrics, at least for the verses, they're interesting and clever... The message of the song in the chorus is a blunt and clear one, but that doesn't make it bad. I think Ryan did a pretty good job on the vocals. The bass is. just. great. I love it!
And I love the guitar... But I love the guitar, especially the breakdon/solo...it makes the song. It's amazing. And the part in the bridge before the chorus. I love it.

Oh, and the other part that makes the song.... THE ORGAN. I adore organs in rock songs. I love, love, love them...we need more of that today. Yes, we need to have a Organ Rock revolution.

Things I don't like about the song...
-The chorus, it bothers me how the guitar cluckn along with e tune...that's one thing I dislike almnost always in any song.
-The "change" shouting part
-That it's so short.

Parts of this song drag a bit...and I listened to it so much, it doesn't really hold my interst that much.
But maybe that's just becuase it's been on my computer...once I get it on a CD and listen to it outside...maybe it will again.

But I still stand by the fact that it's a good solid song and I like it.

After logging several years as members of Panic at the Disco, songwriters Ryan Ross and Jon Walker left the group in July 2009, citing creative differences and the desire to form their own band. The Young Veins took shape later that month, featuring a vintage pop/rock sound inspired by the Cookies, the Kinks, and the Cramps. Recording sessions for the band’s first album began that same summer, with Phantom Planet’s Alex Greenwald and Pretty.Odd. producer Rob Mathes lending their help. As the Young...
