FINALLY!!!
Finally, Charice's international debut album is OUT! Chasters around the world have been waiting for this! Charice finally has her OWN original songs! I'm so happy and proud of Charice for making it this far. She is no doubt one of the best, if not the BEST singer in her generation! This album is really for all ages and I would totally recommend this album to everyone!!

Now, THIS is more like it.
Let me take you on a journey across the landscape of modern pop music: talentless Disney products, wannabe party girls, Auto-Tuned failures.
So, what could we do? Bring in Charice. This girl can SING without the tools over the trade: the Vocoder, Auto-Tune, and overused overdubbing. The songs are catchy and very enjoyable, and by no means is this a guilty pleasure. Constant throwbacks to 80s ballads and even primitive 50s soft rock give the album a retro feel, but the electronica casts the whole album in an urban, contemporary feel.
The lyrics get a bit over the top at times, and it'd be nice to get more songs that aren't about love, but most of the time you wwon't even notice. Songs like I Did It For You have a dreamy and timeless quality to them, and when Charice lets loose on Note to God, you can only open your eyes wide and let your mind be blown.
And this is only the beginning.
Don't compare her to the other divas...
Do yourself a favor and stop comparing Charice to the other divas in that list because the truth is, Charice is in a league all her own. We know she can sing, but what we didn't know is what she would sing when having to do covers is over. MY GOSH! What an amazing range of songs, my FAVORITE has got to be IN LOVE SO DEEP. Charice sounds amazing on this cut and it's worth it to own the CD just for that song. WOW! What an excellent listen this CD was. So enjoyable and Charice needs no studio magic or auto tune to let us enjoy her pure sound, it just happens naturally. Well done Charice! We know you will be around for a long time to come!
