Great Band
Strawfoot is a great band. They preform amazing live shows. This CD is very well done but does not do them a bit of justice compared to when they are live!!
Pass the Bottle
Pass the bottle around, watch the fire, and take in the dark underbelly of Americana. Strawfoot is one of the finest collections of musicians you'll find lurking around the Mississippi as they share their tales of love, loss, and the search for salvation. I highly recommend this addition to anybody's library of music.
Beautiful, Spirtual, Dark, Emotional Journey
This LP, "Chasing Locusts", has really affected me deeply. "Wayfarin Stranger" is my favorite, and, "Damnation Way" is my second favorite on this LP. Every song has some aspect of beauty, spirit, darkness, and emotion to them, that's why I recommend this work. I'll always remember these songs, Rev. Marcus' voice, and Strawfoot's spirit.
