Chasing the Blues
Ever since R.L. Burnside passed away I have been surfing Itunes for songs that remind me of his work. It has been slim pickings for the past few years. This latest album from Freddie King has a few songs on it that reminded me of R.L.'s style. I am no music expert but I know what I like and I'll be looking for more stuff from him. Note to Freddie: R.L.s best stuff came from his later collaborative work- and your "Mixed bucket of Blood" tapped that same spirit. You might want to explore that further in your next round!
