Lush Life
Play this at home and suddenly your place becomes a penthouse in the clouds. Play it on the road and your car becomes Lexus smooth, and you take the long way home so you can keep on listening. It's danceable, it's groovy, it's sensuously sensational.
Her voice penetrates my soul
I have waited a long time for Lisa Shaw's album to be released and it was worth the wait. "Cherry" defines her voice transending my spirit to a new level. Each track becomes a flight; I feel I was "Born to Fly", reaching my destination to fullfil my heart and soul. Though "Its Been Awhile", just remember to "Let It Ride" because this is "The Last Time" to journey through life! "Always" Animeboi4u
a (re)birth of deep soul
With this long awaited and curiously overdue album, Madame Shaw finally gets to show the world she's no mere dance hook / singles diva (she mastered and trancended that role a while back). Here are the SONGS (and complimentary production) that elevate her writing gifts beyond the realm of 'electronica' while subliminally bringing the misunderstood genre closer to a lasting artistic legitimacy. I'm more than glad to say that 'Cherry' does not dissapoint, especially for the those of us who have been scratching our heads wondering when Naked Music would release the inevitable masterpiece we know this super gifted artist is more than capable of. Glad the wait is over. So just download the whole damn thing already.
