Good music
I am thankful this man walk in his gift! He has added pleasure in my life. All the talk these days about bad music, hip hop's demise in the black community etc. I wished Ken Ford and this type was most popular and mainstream on the R&B radio stations. Our world would be a better place. Ken, you keep making it, I'll keep buying it!
My Take on Mr. Ford's Music
I have had the pleasure of hearing this artist in a number of different venues here in the Atlanta area. Very talented, however he seems to try too hard to please his audience rather than just try to do what he does best, which is not only to master a difficult instrument but to just play the instrument in the way that it moves him. I would highly recommend you to see Mr. Ford perform live. He is a true entertainer, however as being an artist that competes with the likes of Jon Luc Ponty and Regina Carter, he should take note of the type and level of music they produce and bring it to their level. I truly believe he is quite capable of taking his music there. From my point of view, however he seems to take the safe routeathand well travelled route when he knows in his heart and mind that he has the talent, creativity and capability to take his music to another level. I'm in his corner. I wish him continued success and look forward to seeing him perform again.
