Killer Album Cover!
I was wondering when iTunes was going to put this album out. This amazing album introduced me to Chicago. Every Saturday morning, back in 1979, I would wake to the sounds of this album blasting throughout our duplex. Mom would be cleaning to it, along with Aja from Steely Dan, Manhatten Transfer and war's greatest hits. This greatest hits compilation contains hits from 1969 through 1975. For the Chicago greenhorn, this is the first album you should obtain. I'm not going to rate every song because literally, every song is top shelf! What was SO cool about this album cover is that, on the front, it would seem that the painters are in a world of trouble. Clinging to life as it were. On the back of the album we are shown the ground floor which is actually only four feet from where Peter is dangling. (Peter is located far left in pink shirt) Greatest band ever, greatest album cover ever!!!
Great Songs but....
for the Chicago fan, it was about the whole album and not just the hits...for the casual fan, this is sufficient...and yes, the album cover was fantastic!
Easily, one of the Greatest Albums of ALL-Time!
WOW....even for a GH album, the songs are put in the right order and there isn't a dud among them. Great listening.
