With a long career he would have phoned in a so-so cd; but thankfully this cd is close to excellent. Thanks for a great cd!
Super Chikan is one of the best contemporary bluesmen out there!
I saw Super Chikan at the National Folk Festival in July 2010, and was immensely impressed with his modern delta blues - he's got the raw power and drive that has been missing in much of blues since Howlin' Wolf. I am so glad to see his material on ITunes!
