Chillafornia

Chillafornia

Formerly known as MC Chill, Tha Chill was a founding member of gangsta rap pioneers Compton's Most Wanted and is prominently featured on their debut album, It's a Compton Thing. A prison stretch put him on ice for CMW's subsequent breakout records (Straight Checkn 'Em and Music to Driveby), and by the time he got out, priorities were refocused onto MC Eiht's solo career. Undaunted, Tha Chill continued to make music, producing for Eiht, Above the Law, and MC Ren. After returning to the vocal booth for CMW's 2000 reunion project Represent and his own solo debut, Tha Wind Chill Factor, he's back with Chillafornia. Here, he joins forces with a gang of old-school heroes for a dozen classic-minded songs showing the youngsters how real OGs do it. Features include Tha Dogg Pound ("We Ain't Feelen Nat"), King T (“Let One Go"), and MC Ren ("$ Right!"), plus RBX and Lil' Half Dead, among others.
